Mask Event 2023 : Awareness Campaign for HIV/AIDS Prevention

This year, Khemara's annual mask event was organized and held in Bong Preul High School, one of the 4 high schools, in Tboung Khmum Province, in which Khemara is present all year round to organize education sessions, improve access to care and train students as peer educators on topics of sexual and reproductive health and especially on HIV/AIDS.

After participating in a mask contest with their handmade creations, 182 children walked in the village spreading awareness and informations on loudspeakers to the whole community, about sexual and reproductive health. Afterwards, we organized a Q&A sessions on those same topics and gifts were distributed to the winners. The event was concluded by speeches from Khemara, local authorities and the school's headmaster.
